Wrapping up 2015

I don't know about you, but 2015 was sort of a whirlwind of a year. It started out better than 2014 ended and things just kept looking up and up.

This year kept me incredibly busy. I had parties rocking every month.
I attended the Regional Conference in March in Denver where I met some awesome ladies and I was randomly chosen as a VIP where I got some extra sweet Jam-swag.
An amazing friend joined my Jam-Team.
We moved in July.
I attended a Jam Summit meeting in August where I got to meet a few new awesome ladies AND one of the Elite Executives in my Upline.
My Husband and I went on an amazing vacation (to London).
I switched jobs, twice, in a matter of a couple months. I couldn't be happier. I have my job back that I left last year, AND I get to work from home!
We spent my birthday and Christmas with my family.

And now here it is, the end of January and I'm making some goals for myself with my Jamberry career. One of those goals is to actively keep up this blog! I started out so well and I'd love to keep up with whichever network this reaches to. I believe everyone should have some Jams in their life. :)

To start things off... Here's a re-cap of 2015.. in my Jamicures! These are a few of my favorites, but to see ALL of my manis & pedis from the year, you can check out this album: 2015: My Year in Jams

I'm Still Here!

I can't believe that I haven't posted in my Jam-blog in MONTHS! I sit down and think I'll get to it, and then I get caught up with everything else I've got going on. And it's ALL been Jamberry related!

I went on vacation in December for Christmas to visit family. My husband and I had a blast! I even got to have some bff time where I walked my bestie through the nail application process. She'd tried the samples on her own before but sort of struggled, so I told her I'd bring my stash and we'd have some much needed girl time. :)
She LOVED her wraps and before I left, she said she'd book an online party in January with me!

(this is Iced - My friend & sister did manicures, I did a pedicure....from ONE Jamberry sheet. Look how much is left!!)

I owe my friend the biggest thank you. Her party was such a hit!! FIVE of her friends booked parties with me, and her party sales reached over $500. I had never had a party that big before!

So, Since January, it has been nothing but non-stop Jamberry Facebook parties for me, three to four each month. One of them being my largest party ever, reaching almost $800 in sales! These photos are from some of the girls when they received their Hostess Rewards from their parties. These items were either FREE or Half-Off.  My highest party girl (shown in the $700 photo) didn't spend over $80 on her remaining total after all of her rewards were applied. She earned just about $300 in FREE products!

See.. I've been a BUSY, BUSY Jam Consultant... and loving it every day!
I also attended the Jamberry Regional Conference back in March in Denver. SO much fun! I'll create a post about that soon. :)

Fall Jamicures

After a month straight of pink manicures, I decided to jump into the Fall season! I wanted to go outside my comfort zone a little. So what says fall, and opposite of pink? Black, right?

Jamberry has a ton of black and white designs to give a great classic manicure.  You can check them out here.... http://stephanieb.jamberrynails.net/color/Black

I've been eyeing up Static for a while now, but couldn't think of what I wanted to pair it with. I'd also had my eye on Black & White Quad. So.... why not put them together!?  I love to mix and match my Jams! I showed my husband and he gave his approval of, "Yeah, those look pretty cool."

I decided to take advantage of the Fall weather while running out to get my mail. I mean, who says you can't have a mini photo op in your driveway?! ;)

So what do you think? Do you love it, or Would you leave it?

I also did a new pedicure! This is one of my all time favorite designs. I stocked up before it retired so I can wear it many, many times. -lol- Here is Black Lace on Magenta. (which you can totally re-create with Black Lace over any solids/glimmers/lacquers!!)

This photo is at 16 days, and it's clear my Jamicure is still going on strong!!!

Jamberry Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Support

I've been slacking in updating!! It's been a busy month!

A friend of mine posted on Facebook that she was going to wear pink manis throughout October to show support for a friend of hers who has breast cancer. I spent the past three and a half years working at The American Cancer Society, so I thought it would be great to show support too. My friend created the #manisformandy that we used on Facebook and Instagram.

Here are pictures of my month long pink manis for October!

First Jamicure of October!

So, do you want to know what a Jamicure looks like when a husband says, "That's my favorite. I really like it, it's cool. That's the best one you've ever done"?  I bet you do!

I store all of my Jamberry Nails sheets in a spiral photo album (holds two 4x6's per page). I was flipping through, trying to find two that I wanted to mix & match for my next application. I thought about a pretty floral, or a black and white because I haven't done one of those in a long time. Then I really wanted to wear one of my new designs from the Fall/Winter 2014 catalog. So I grabbed Gala, which is pink, purple & silver metallic. I looked through my wraps to find a suitable match, when the light bulb went off. There was no question. I needed another metallic color, but a pattern might be too busy. Solids it is. I don't have many solids so my choices were limited but this one... PERFECT.

Gala & Orchid Glimmer.

I didn't think my husband was going to like it. I thought Gala sort of has an '80's look to it (which he despises), so I was thinking his response would be, "Yeah, it's okay. Not my favorite." Just when you think you really know a man.... lol

As a consultant there are a ton of resource on Facebook. I've joined a handful of different groups where we share photos, party ideas, etc. There's one that is specifically to share photos of Jamberry Nails on "real hands" that others are able to re-use to show their customers. With so many consultants & customers, the photos and mix & match of wrap ideas becomes endless! I've never had this many "likes" on my photos in this group before! It felt like winning the Jackpot!!
There was only one other time I had, apparently, taken a pretty decent photo because I later saw it re-posted on Instagram, and someone had put together a photo album of every single current design.. and it was in there. But that feels like nothing compared to THIS.
Holy. Moly.

Even I can't stop checkin' out my shiny, glimmer-y nails while I type this! ;)

Last Jamicure for September ......

The end of September was pretty busy for my husband and I. He had some projects at work that were taking some extra long hours, and we were expecting our very first visitors in our new place. Very exciting! My parents were here for six days; which we cram-packed full of touristy places to see, and delicious food.
On the last day my parents were visiting, my husband and I were waiting for them to check out of their hotel to come meet us so we could go out for brunch before they headed out of town. I knew it would take them a few minutes from when they called to say they were on their way, so I did what every Jam girl does when there are a few spare minutes. I changed my Jamicure!

I brought my stuff out to the living room and set up my little nail station on the ottoman. My husband sat in the chair next to me, chatting until my parents got there. My mom was watching me with my application and I showed her which design I'd picked out. My husband looked down and said, "Whoa. You're done already? Didn't you just start them a few minutes ago?!" :)

I decided to stray from all the pink, and go a different route this time...

Take Aim paired with a retired Colorful Arrowhead Accents wrap.
(the picture on the left was outside in natural (shaded) light, the picture on the right is natural sunlight inside to see the detail of the colors in Take Aim)

I really love the design of  Take Aim, but I was slightly disappointed that the colors of the arrows weren't brighter. But I still thought they were super cute! They'll be really great for someone who likes a more subtle-ness to their nails. :)

***Note; I totally would have done the whole Mother/Daughter Jamicure time, but my mom isn't allowed to wear nail polish or even acrylic/gel nails at work. I thought about doing them with her the first night they arrived so she could have cute nails all week and easily remove them when she got home.. but we were just so busy! Maybe next time...
